My Review:
For  Rose Hathaway life as a  Dhampir is her duty.. To risk her own life to protect her best friend Lissa, a Moroi Vampire Princess.... They are now on the run from other Dhampir's like Rose.. But, they are soon found  by a young Dhampir named, Dimitri.. And are dragged back to St. Vladimir’s Academy.. Which isn’t just any boarding school.. But a hidden place where vampires are educated in the ways of magic and half-human teens train to protect them...

As another tempt to escape seem impossible.. She learns that maybe laying low for a while might be good for them.. So Rose trains some more with her fighting skills with the help of Dimitri.. But as the more she's with Dimitri, the more she is falling for him.. And knowing that it's  forbidden... While Lissa too.. Is enmeshed in a forbidden romance with someone too..

As they both try to figure out what to with this.. Rose see that someone wants to do Lissa harm and that she might be in danger.. But soon Rose and Lissa will see what real danger is.. When the Strigoi, the world’s fiercest and most dangerous vampires... Try to make Lissa like one of them forever... And it's up to Rose and Dimitri to keep her safe before it's too late..

My Thoughts:

-This book was amazing and so interesting..... I have no words of how good it was... It's just one of those books that's hard to put unto words.... So I'll have to say that Vampire Academy was very different in it's own way....

-I really enjoyed the characters in this book too... They were all so interesting and unique in there own way... Like how Rose was such a kick-ass fighter and how brave she was... But most of all, how she was always there for Lissa...

-And lets not forget about the mysterious Dimitri... He was something else... I like how beyond his tough warrior self... That he cares about Rose and has a understanding of what it's like to risk everything to protect someone you care about... I also enjoyed the relationship that Rose and Dimitri had with each other... It was so sweet and mysterious at the same time... I can't wait to see where it's going to lead to, in the other five books...

- So in other words.... I really enjoy this first book in the Vampire Academy series and can't wait to read more to see what happens next to Rose, Lissa and Dimitri in book two....

-And I give this book 5/5 stars..
