My Review:
For the past three years Juliette Ferrars has been lock away... Because all her life she has has been thinking herself as a monster, from the people that has shun her, scared of her. Even her parents discard her for an accident that was a mistake that she didn't mean to do.. But a mistake that had her lock up in the first place...
After convincing herself that their's no hope for her ability to kill with one touch. While no one knows why her touch is fatal. But when two different armies, wants to use her for different needs.... Like one wants to use her as a weapon, while the other wants to use her for peace... Not sure who to trust, she's left stick in the middle of a battle she still doesn't understand...
But when she learns for the first time ever that she's more then just something bad and can be use for something good.. She feels good about herself for the first time in years... And has the strength to fight back with a meaning... When a soldier name Adam, let's Juliette know that she is not a monster and helps her to understand herself a little bit more... The only thing is... He's the boy that she felled in love with three years ago.... and still does....
My Thoughts:
--I loved this book... It was so unique and very interesting to read.... I really enjoyed the whole world that Tahereh Mafi created in Shatter Me... I also like the idea how it had a X-Man feel to it...
-And lets not forget the characters, they were also very cool, unique and interesting to read about...
-Like Juliette for sample... A broken girl who has always thought herself as monster.. Because of her deadly touch, to the people that has called her one and makes her feel like she's nothing... But Adam.... A boy that opens up Juliette's eyes to know, that she is more then meets the eye... And for the first time ever.... She feels good about herself and that what she does is a gift...
-To the leaders from both armies and how different they were... Like hate one and loving the other, while also both of them wants to use Juliette for different matters... To Adam's friend Kenjii and little brother James.. I also enjoyed, Adam's and Juliette relationship with one another too.... How after three years apart from one another.. They still had a strong connection with each other and would do anything for one another...
-So in other words this book was amazing beyond words... So I'm very looking forward to reading the second book Unravel next year in February and can't wait to see what will happen to Juliette and Adam on their next journey...
-And I give this book 5/5 stars...
