The Red Pyramid Rick Riordan
Title: The Red Pyramid
That all changes the day on Christmas Eve... When Carter and Sadie are reunited and their father brings them to the British museum and tells them he will make things right again... But everything does not go according to plan and they watch in horror as their father disappears right before their eyes.. While a mysterious figure appears out of no where too, while having a few evil pains in store for Carter and Sadie... They soon discover that Ancient Egypt gods are real, and the worse of them -Set- has a frightening scheme to destroyed the world and become pharaoh... So in order to save their father and the world... They will have to embark on a dangerous journey, that will bring them closer to the truth and secrets about their family... That has a link toward the secret order of the House of Life, that existed since the time of the pharaohs...
- I can't believe that I didn't start reading this book sooner.... Because I fell in love with the story and mythology that Rick Riordan created...
-And the characters in this book was.. unreal, funny, interesting and unique in their own way...
-Like Cater for sample... Who knew nothing about how to be a warrior he's meant to be to save his father and the world... Only, knowing facts about the Egypt gods... But the more the story goes... The more he discovers how to be brave for Sadie's sake and the dangers that lie ahead... And his sister Sadie.. Who was so.. hardhead and stubborn that she does things without thinking.. Not knowing what dangers lie ahead... But would do anything to save her father and keep her brother safe... To the other characters that Carter and Sadie meet along the way... Like the Egypt gods, Zia a House of Life warrior, their mysterious uncle, to the evil Egypt god Set..
-I also like the idea of how Carter and Sadie are telling the story in their point of views.. While getting the idea of what's going on... So in other words this book was amazing and I really enjoyed the world that the author created in The Red Pyramid... To fans of the Percy Jackson series, will love this book and the adventure that Carter and Sadie go on.. The Red Pyramid is the first book in the Kane Chronicles and I can't wait to get a copy of the second book The Throne of Fire to see what happens to Carter and Sadie next....
-And I give book 5/5 stars....

My Review:
The Story begins by introduces two young kids... Fourteen year-old Carter and his twelve year-old sister Sadie Kane. Every since their mother death six years ago... Carter has lived his life out of a suitcase, by traveling the world with his Egyptologist father Dr. Julius Kane... While his sister Sadie grows up in London with their grandparents... But while Sadie has just what Carter wants... School friends and a change at a "normal" life... Cater has just what Sadie wants... Time with their father... After living six years apart from each other and only seeing one another once or twice a year... Carter and Sadie have almost nothing in common...That all changes the day on Christmas Eve...
