My Review:                     This book is about eighteen year old girl named Kate.  It's always been just Kate and her mom liveing in New York City,  enjoy life together. But when her mother gets sick, that puts Kate in charge of take care of her for the past two years...  So two years later and now eighteen, Kate's mother knows her time is comeing soon... So what is her last wish? To move back to her childhood home in Eden, Michigan. So Kate's going to start at a new school with no friends, no other family and each day the fear of  her mother sliping away....

Until Kate meets Henry, who is dark, tortured, mesmerizing  and claims to be Hades, god of the Underworld and makes a bargain to Kate that he will keep her mother alive while Kate comes with him and stay at his home, while she tries to pass seven test. Every girl who has took the test has died.  Now it is Kate turn....... She thinks he is lying and that he is crazy for sure- until she sees him bring a girl back from the dead right before her eyes. So saving  her mother seems crazily possible. As Kate's stay with Henry, she slowly sees that she is slowly falling in love with Henry.  And if she succeeds, Kate will  become Henry's future bride, and a goddess.. But when bad things start to happen and Kate discovers the truth of why she there. She not sure if her biggest fear is being successful for pasting the test or died trying and loosing her true love forever........

My Thoughts:

-This book was amazing... I'm a huge fan of any mythology and folklore, but Greek mythology is one of my favorites... I also enjoy how the author recreates a myth, and create a whole new twist to it.. Which was so cool... I fell in love with the plot and the characters were amazing...

-Kate was a strong, brave, and a interesting character to read.. Even when she went though so much to save her mother.. While at the same time, she was slowly  falling in love with Henry... And their relationship with one another was so sweet and interesting though-out the whole book...

-So with that all said.. I really enjoy this book, and can't wait to read the second book Goddess Interrupted next year...

-And I give this book 5/5 stars
