My Review:
So what this book is basically about, is about these nine special children and their protecters. That was force to leave their home planet Lorien, when they fell under attack by these evil aliens that called their selfs the Morgadorians. So the Nine alien children and protecters go to Earth, in hope that they will be safe from the Morgadorians. Blending in and looking like any ordinary humans, but with extraordinary, paranormal skills. The Nine had to separate and go into hiding. But when the Mogadorian caught Number One in Malaysia, Number Two in England, and Number Three in Kenya. All of them were killed. John Smith, of Paradise, Ohio, is Number Four. He knows that he is next....
John Smith has move place to place, for as long as he can remember. After leaving his home planet with his protecter Henry when he was six year old, with the other eight children and protecters, to earth so they all can be safe from the Morgadorians. In hope to live a better life.. But that all changes, when number One, Two and Three are found and are killed by the Morgadorians. So Henry and John has been on the run, in hope that John will be safe. After discovering that Number Three is dead and John is next. John and Henry pack up and leave Florida, to go to Paradise, Ohio. For a new life.
There he meets some very cool characters. The first one, is a cute beagle that fellows John around, and show up at weird times though out the book. And also Sarah. Who is this girl that John meets at High School, and is a photographer. Who is always everywhere with her camera and she loves taking pictures. She is also trying to change her life around this year. After doing some things last year that she was not very proud of, and become a better person this year. She also begins to see that John is a really nice guy, compare to the other guy that she dated. That went by the name of Mark... Mark is this football player that is just not a very nice dude.. And tries everything to make John stay in Ohio rough for him. Also while in Ohio, he meets Sam. While protecting him from Mark and his friends. Sam is this young boy that is trying to find his father, and is obsessed with aliens. And because of that, is that his father disappear with nothing but his truck and glasses were left behind... At the same time.. John is discovering his powers, that he soon develops, and is falling in love with Sarah. While trying keep his powers under control, so no one know the truth about him.. But when things start to turn bad, and the Morgadorians soon show up.. In the end... It will be up to John to defeat them, save earth and the ones he loves....
My Thoughts:
-This book was amazing. I really enjoyed the details that this book had. And how real it felt, like you were living the journey with John and Henry. But most of all.. I enjoyed the back story of John and Henry's home planet Lorien. The planet was detail so well, and how beautiful it was describe in the book.
-I also felled in love with all the characters in this book too. They were all so enjoyable, even Mark.. And the evil Morgadorians were also very cool too, even if they were so creepy.... Oh... Let's not forget John's powers. Even though it took like forever.... for John to master some of his powers.. While others are still to be master... I still enjoy how they were describe and detail in the book.. So that's all I have to say about how amazing this book is..
-And I give this book 5/5 stars...
