My Review:

In the year 2076, it has been eleven years since the war with the partials.. Strong, engineered, organic, beings, to  look like humans.. But also the ones that destroy tens out thousands of the world’s population with RM.. A airborne  virus,  which only left forty thousands humans immune to RM.. The survivors in North America, have come together as one  to  Long Island...  And is now control by three high up people that called their selfs the Senate.. Where the threat of the partials is still unknown, but worse.. No babies has been born immune to the disease in over a decade, and humanity’s time is slowly running out...

The story is  introduced to us.. By sixteen-year-old Kira Walker.. Who is a medical intern , that  works at the hospital observing everything when a baby is born.. While sadly watching the babies dying with the virus before her eyes.. That takes their life immediately  before their even three days old..  In hope to have a baby immune to the virus.. The Senate has past a law called... "The Hope Act"...  That demands any female, eighteen or older to be pregnant..  But when Kira's sister Madison is pregnant.. She  decides to take the matter into her own hands... In fear for the life of her sister's baby... Kira believes there's a way to cure RM.. Even when the Senate forbids her to go...  Kira will put together a team and will embark on a  dangerous mission to find the ones that started RM to begin with... "A Partial"... To find one and to capture it, and she knows that  it will not only save her sister's child, but  the future of her species.... But going into Partial territory will be a  death sentence and  possibly instigate a new war.. There's just one catch.. No one has seen  or heard from a  Partial in eleven years.....

So as she tries desperately to save what is left of her race.. Kira  and her team stumbles into paths with a  Partial name Samm.. Who they bring back home, but he also seems different then other Partials and wants peace with the humans.. However, the Senate has some other plains for Samm, by disposed of him before Kira can perform her tests. Will she be able to convince them to let her try? Or will they kill the Partial and take with it every possible chance they had to prevent their species from dying out? Because the more she's with Samm.. The more she discovers the survival of both humans and partials alike, that  will make her answer to questions of the war’s origin that she never knew to ask...

Until Now..

My Thoughts:

-Whew.. This book took me longer to read then I thought.. But after I finish reading Partials.. It had me thinking, of  how it  blew me  away with the  crazy unbelievable adventure that Kira went on to find a cure for RM, and  also how I really enjoyed this book to begin to end.. That I totally forget about how long it took me to finish it.. So thumps up for Dan Wells and this amazing story...

-Let not forget the characters..  Each one of them was amazing and very interesting in their own way...

-Like the main character Kira for sample.. She was a very brave heroine though-out the book.. I really enjoyed how she stood up for what she believed in, while search for a cure of RM.. But also discovering some shocking things about her world she though she knew and herself she never knew about...

-I also fell in love with the other characters  as well...

-Like Kira's friends and family.. But more with mysterious Partial Samm.. He was so cool and interesting read about.. When ever he came into a scene though-out the book... I couldn't  wait to read more about his interesting input, to see what ever happen to the Partials after the war...  And also how there might be something with Samm and Kira in future books..

-So to put into words..  I'll have to say I  really enjoyed  this book and the  unbelievable world that Dan Wells created in Partials....
Filled with action, romance, conspiracy, politics and heroine that stand up to what she believes in and has a  good heart... Partials is a good book to add to the dystopian genre pile... And I can't wait to read the second book, "Fragments"  when it comes out next year...

-And I give this book 4/5 stars...
