My Review:
For Sixteen year old Clary Fray.. All she wishes is to go back to being normal... But the truth is.. What is normal? When you're a demon-slaying Shadowhunter, your mother is in a magically induced coma and you can suddenly see Downworlders like werewolves, vampires and faeries... She also wants to spend more time with her best friend Simon.. But for some reason.. The Shadowhunters won't let her go..... Especially the mysterious Shadowhunter Jace... While her feels for Jace is more confusing then ever, after finding out the truth of who Jace really is..

She also realizes that the only way to help her mother.. Is to track down the insane, evil rogue Shadowhunter Valentine... But when another Mortal Instrument is stolen.. "Maellartch".... The Soul Sword... The terrifying Inquisitor.. Accuses Jace of being a spy for Valentine.... While also young Downworlders are showing up dead with there blood taken from them... So will Clary and her friends be able to find the Soul Sword before another young Downworlders ends up dead?

My Thoughts:

-This book was amazing.. I really enjoyed reentering Clary's world again.. After so long ago of reading City of Bones last year.. The story and plot in the the second book of The Mortal Instruments.. Was done very good and it was also very interesting to read more about the Shadowhunter world and Clary's past...

-I also enjoyed the characters in this book too... It was fun reading more about my favorites characters from City of Bones again.. Like Clary, Jace, Simon, Alec, Isabelle, Magnus Bane and Luke .. I also enjoyed the new characters too, like Maia.. Which I'm hope to see more of her in the third book..

-The only thing that I didn't like in City of Ashes .. Was Clary's relationship between Simon and Jace... Because I felt like she was using Simon to get over Jace.. When she found out the truth about Jace in City of Bones... So that's the only thing that I was disappointing at... But every thing else was amazing and I can't wait to read more.. Because the ending in this book had a huge cliffhanger, and I'm looking forward to reading City of Glass now...

-So in other words this book was amazing.. With the mysterious plot, wonderful characters, full of action and twist and turns around every corner.. This book will keep on your heels and have you guessing until the very end... So I can't wait to see more of Clary's world again in book three..

-And I give this book 4/5 stars...
