My Review:
For Ellie Monroe is just your typical teenage girl.. But everything changes on her seventeen birthday, when she is haunted by terrifying dreams and visions of monstrous creatures... She discovers that she's no ordinary girl at all.. Especially when she discover the existence of reapers. Evil creatures that kill and steal people's souls... And that coincides with the arrival of Will, who proclaims to be her partner in a past life. When Ellie meets Will, she feels on the verge of remembering something just beyond her grasp. His attention is intense and romantic, and Ellie feels like her soul has known him for centuries....
While also discovering that she is the Preliator, a powerful warrior reborn again and again over thousands of years into a mortal's body. And that she is the only person that can fight and stop the evil reapers.... But with no memories of her past lives... Will helps her on her journey to remember... With her powers now awakened, Ellie cannot escape her destiny. As her visions affect her everyday life as the memories of her previous lives bleed their way into her consciousness....
My Thought:
-Wow.... just wow.. I have no words of how good this book is... Another angel book I really enjoy... I love the world that Courtney created in this book, how beautiful and so different in many ways... I also enjoyed the angel mythology that this book had too...
-And lets not forget the characters in this book too... They were all no likable and so interesting in their own unique way...
-Like how Ellie was this discovers the meaning to her dreams and finding how that she is a spacial warrior ridded the world of the evil/dark reapers... While trying to piece together her lost memories of her past lives.. And how much she grows into a strong character though out the book...
-To Ellie's sweet friends.... And Will... her partner, friend, teacher and maybe even more... I also enjoyed the Reapers and history about them in the book as well....
-So with that all said...I really enjoyed this book and will have to say that this book was very good and interesting to read... And can't wait to read the second book Wings of the Wicked, just to see where Ellie's journey will lead her next...
-And I give this book 5/5 stars....
