My Review:
It has been six months since Nikki Beckett vanished and was taken to the underworld known as the Everneath. But now she has returned and hoping  to get her old life back, with her family and her boyfriend Jack. Before she is send back to the Everneath... and  time forever.... Now she has six months before the Everneath comes to claims her, six months to say good-byes that she can't find the words for and six months to find redemption, if it exists....

She is hoping that these months above the surface will help her reconnect with Jack. The one person that took her disappearance the hardest and loves her more then anything.. But there's just one problem that stands in her way of doing so.... Cole! The mysterious, dark, smoldering immortal, who took her to the Everneath in the first place... And he has fellow Nikki to the surface and wants her back.... this time as his queen...

With her time on the surface quickly slipping from her grasp, she realize that she will have to make the hardest decision of her life.. To find a way to stay with Jack on the surface or go back to the Everneath with Cole and become his queen.....

My Thoughts:

-Oh my gosh.... This book was amazing.... I really enjoyed the Greek mythology and the retelling of the Hades and  Persephone myth, that Brodi Ashton created in this book... It was so different, unique and very interesting to read.....

-I also enjoyed the characters in this book too...  How they all were very interesting to read and unique in there own way...

-Like Nikki for a sample.. How she's trying so hard to patch things back up, for what she had done to her family and Jack... While understanding the true meaning of sacrifice, while trying to seek out the untold secrets of the Everneath and why Cole needs her....

-To the dark and mysterious Cole and the true reason on why Cole sticks around...

-And lastly Jack.. Who even though things were pretty rough with Nikki in the past.. He is also try very hard to make things right with Nikki and him... To also still loving her, after all this time... And there relationship with one another was so sweet and breathtaking at the same time..

-I also enjoyed the  neat way of the past and present time periods... To get a better in sight of Nikki's disappearance six months ago... While learning more about the unreal world of Everneath....

-So with that all said... I really enjoyed this book and the beautiful world of Everneath that the author created.. And looking forward to reading the second book next year to see what new dangers lurk for Nikki next..

-And I give this book 5/5 stars...
