My Review:
About a sixteen- year- old girl name Violet. Since she was very young, she has been able to sense the dead bodies- or least those that have been murdered- and imprint. And when she hears them call out to her for help, she has called them echos.. She has kept her ability a secret all her life and the only ones that know.. Are her parents, her aunt and uncle and her best friend Jay. But when she starts to to fall for Jay, she's afraid that it will rune their friendship. Violet has never considered her ability useful, but when a serial killer begins terrorizing her small town and two bodies turn up dead... Violet realizes that she might be the only one to stop this person from killing again.. Sworn to protect her, Jay agrees to help Violet with the search for the killer. But even though Violet is falling in love with Jay, Violet sees that the closer she is discovering the killer... she just might becoming his next victim herself.....
My Thoughts:
-This book was amazing... I really enjoyed the mystery that this book had, with the twist and turn though-out the whole book. That kept me guessing who the killer was, and shock me when I found out... And the parts with the killer's point of view though-out the book, was very interesting to read.. Giving me a idea of what the killer was thinking...
- I also fall in love with the characters as well.. Each one was so interesting to read and different... I really enjoy Violet's character, she was up to beat and her ability to discover dead bodies was so cool and different... The other thing I enjoy was, Violet and Jay's relationship with one another.. How they were just friends at first and the older Jay got, the more different he becoming in Violet eyes... Where it lead her to questioning her feeling for him....
-So I really enjoyed this book, and can't wait to read the second book Desires of the Dead...
-And I give this book 5/5 stars...
