My Review:
For seventeen year old Anna Oliphant, was looking forward for her senior year in Atlanta, where she's got a great job and loyal best friend, and a crush on the verge of becoming more.. But when her father decides to ship her off to a boarding school in Paris instead... She is less then thrilled about going, until she meets Etienne St. Clair.... Smart, charming, beautiful, Etienne has it all..... including a serious girlfriend. Even though Anna should stay away from him and just be friends.... But as the more they spent together, the more she can't stay part, and her feelings for him start to grow into something more... Will a year of romantic near-misses end with their long-awaited French kiss? Only time will tell....
My Thoughts:
-This book was so sweet. Anna and the French Kiss is probably one of the best contemporary novels I've ever read. Stephanie Perkins writes a romance that feels so real and with completely believable characters to create a novel that was so unbelievably good... That had me hook on page one, and I couldn't put it down....
- I really enjoy how Anna and St. Clair were just friends at the beginning half of the book, but then the more they spent with one another it grows unto something more then that.... And I also enjoy how this book was not a fairy-tale romance either. Anna and St. Clair's relationship has it's ups and downs. He's got a serious girlfriend and Anna is still harboring feelings for an co-working back in America. But even with those obstacles in the way, the story still progresses, as do their feelings. And it literally leaps off the pages....
- Overall, I have no words of how good, and how much I enjoy Anna and French Kiss. This book was cute, intense, romantic, funny, dramatic and so much more.... And I definitely recommend this book and should check it out for yourself.. Even if you're not into contemporary books, I think this book might just change your mind!!
- And I give this book 5/5 stars
