My Review:
The story starts off by introducing a young girl named Meghan Chase. Her father disappeared before her eyes when she was six.  She has never quite fit in at school,  or at home. But, that all changes for Meghan on her sixteen birthday. When strange things start to happen to Megan like seeing and hearing odd things, unaware what's going on. Until she finds out that her half brother is kidnapped and taken to the world of Neverever, and that's where her adventure begins..  Meghan is drawn into a fantastical world she never imagined, the world of Faery. Where anything you see may try to eat you, and Megan also finds out that she's the daughter of a mythical faery king.   Along the way Meghan also finds out  that her best friend Robbie, is a faery named Puck, and  meets a talking cat named Grim, and a mysterious young ice prince named Ash. Who  she is  slowly falling  in  love with,  but  can  never be with him.  Now it's up to Meghan to learn how far she'll go to save her bother Ethan and  the world of Neverever, and to stop the mysterious evil Iron King before it's too late.....  The Iron King is the first book in the Iron Fey series.

My Thoughts:

-All  I have to say, is that I absolutely adored this book. It had me hooked on page one and  I couldn't put it down. This book had it all... action, romance, humor, a unique plot, and such lovable characters.

-I really enjoyed  Meghan’s character.  She was such a strong, independent, kind of character. Which made me really love her character. I also admired the side characters very much too...  Her little bother Ethan, Puck, Ash & the talking cat- Grim. And I also enjoyed the faery world of Neverever. I love how Kagawa  created this strangely unique world that felt so real, with a little touch of magic! I can't wait to read the next book in the series, The Iron Daughter!

-So that's all there is to it..  I'm looking forward to reading more of Meghan's adventures, to see what happens to her next....
- And I give this book 5/5 stars...
