My Review:
After a horrible accident that claims the lives of her family. Sixteen-year-old Ever Bloom can see people's auras, hear their thoughts and know someone's entire life story by just touching them. Going out of her way to avoid human contact and suppress her abilities, she hides under hoodies and uses her ipod to drown out the thoughts around her. She has been branded a freak at her new high school, but everything changes when she meets Damen Auguste. Damon is gorgeous, exotic, and wealthy. He's the only one who can silence the noise and random energy in her head, and wielding a magic so intense, it's as though he can peer right into her soul. As Ever is drawn deeper into Damon enticing world of secrets and mystery, she's left with more questions than answers And she has no idea just who or what Damon really is. The only thing she does know that is true is that she's falling deeply and helplessly in love with him...
My Thoughts:
- I really enjoyed this book. It was different and unique. I really enjoy how the author creates such an amazing world and the way she explains, Ever's gift and the mystery and secrets she must uncover along the way, and to find-out why and how she has this gift.
The relationship between Ever and the mysterious Damon, was so sweet and amazingly well put together. I loved that about them, I do admit that Ever was annoying at times when she made dumb choices, but besides that.. she was a fun character. So yeah.. This book was amazing and also this is the first book in the series..
