My Review:
About a girl named Aerin Renning, who lives with her father until a tragic crash of his ship, that left him dead and her a slave of a planet unknown. But after escaping and trying to forget her rough and sad past, she is sent to Academy 7. There she meets Dane Madousin, who is the son of a General, who puts his anger of his dead wife on Dane. So on the surface Aerin and Dane have nothing in common. But the two most competitive freshmen at Academy 7 share an undiscovered bond. They soon discover that they harbor a dangerous secret that threatens their own destruction. And while their safety depends upon their staying apart, the two are completely drawn to one another. Even as unknown forces conspire to separate them, their competition turns to friendship, and their friendship to romance...

Now not only their lives are at stake, but their hearts also. To survive, the two must unite all their skills and gifts to uncover a secret bigger than either could imagine. A secret as big as the entire universe.....
My Thoughts:
- I really enjoyed this book. The story-line was so unique and different. I’ve never read a science fictional. book before, so I’m glad that I tried out this one first. Because I fell in love with it.
-And I also enjoyed Aerin's character she was very upbeat and spoke her mind, and also Dane’s character. He was going though a rough time with his dad after his mom died, and you felt what he was going though, which was kind of sad. So put it into words, this was an amazing read, so you should definitely pick up a copy and read it.
